ORIJEN

ORIJEN Trails Web App at Crater Lake

A real-world explainer campaign for the ORIJEN Trails web app, filmed at Crater Lake National Park. Kodiak and I used the app to choose a cat-friendly trail and demonstrate how the tool could support safer, more informed outdoor adventures with a cat.

Campaign Goal

Introduce the ORIJEN Trails web app and show how cat owners could use it to find cat-friendly trails in national parks. The campaign called for a real use case, so the goal was to demonstrate the app in an actual national-park setting while also showing practical, responsible hiking with a cat.

Creative Process

This campaign was more brief-led than some of my earlier ORIJEN work because the main objective was to clearly show how the new Trails web app worked. I needed a real national-park example, so Kodiak and I traveled to Crater Lake National Park and used the app as part of a hike on the Godfrey Glen Trail. The video combined an explainer structure with our normal outdoor content: showing how the app was used, taking viewers into the actual trail experience, and demonstrating some of the considerations that go into safely managing a hike with a cat.
